About Quogue Chamber Music

Mission Statement

The mission of Quogue Chamber Music, Inc. is to enrich the cultural life of the Village of Quogue, Long Island, and its surrounding communities by means of presenting compelling and innovative performances of classical chamber music and related educational programs designed to appeal to diverse audiences and participants.

Quogue Chamber Music, a nonprofit organization, was founded by Jane Deckoff, a community resident, in the fall of 2009. Recognizing that Quogue was heavily involved in the arts but lacked representation in the field of music, it was felt that there was a need for such a series. Supporting Board members are Maya Browne, Ruth Holzer Byowitz, Mark Carbone, Marvin Deckoff, Peggy Flaum, Karen Jakes, and Mark Schulte.
